  The fact that there are over 20 political parties on the books of the EC is ample testimony and proof, the EC is not a serious organisation. There is no seriousness in that institution because if there was, by the 2004 elections, the EC would have exercised it's mandate and responsibilities with seriousness with respect to the over 20 political parties or should we say, political jokes on its books.
  There is no seriousness in that institution, no seriousness. It is a spectacular joke. This carting and dumping of these political jokes referred to as parties into the dustbin, should have been done over a decade ago.
