So only NDC member took time to go and register at Legon while the NPP students went to sleep. The NPP could not canvas their members to register, a strategy to put the EC in bad light. Typically, they are whining.

1. Mr. Agyarko has assumed that all the 5,000 students are within 18 and 23 years old; there are some new intakes who are about 40 years old and had earlier registered.
2. Some students may not like to register and vote because of their religious beliefs.
3. There may be some students without the required identification material
4. Some of the new intakes may not be Ghanaians; i.e they are foreigners.
DID MR. AGYARKO GO TO THE UG CAMPUS TO INTERVIEW THE SO CALLED 5,000 STUDENTS?

This is so irresponsible of the EC as there is no excuse whatsoever not to have put enough resources in to register eligible voters.
This is clear disenfranchisement. Making sure people register is EC sole responsibility

The first 5 or six days, the students did not show any interest in the exercise. Where were TESCON and the other bodies to urge their members to go register? They were looking for ways to vilify EC. Serves them right!!!

AFTER 59 YEARS WE DONT HAVE DATA BASE FOR OUR CITIZENRY.ONLY INTERESTED IN WINNING ELECTIONS.Loretta why this situation.Mahama why this situation. What will be your gains.National identification cards should have been our source of voting. You don't need to spend time and money removing names. This was muted by Npp Mills/Mahama killed the idea just to be able to use foreigners into a voter register. When Lorita was told to generate a clean register she refuse.Complicating issues and making things hard for her self.
This election is prone to so many issues after election Nov 7.
Are they ready to face it.Or they don't care for their own interest.WHY ARE WE DOING THIS TO MOTHER GHANA

EC to bring additional registration machines suggest planning on EC's side was poor. EC should do the right thing by extending registration at the university campuses.

How did you come by that figure? How sure are you that some of these students never registered when they were minors as we all know when they were in Senior High School? There can't be an open ended registration. It will be a recipe for chaos. I always wonder what type of persons these NPP and their surrogates are. These people were advocating for the compilation of a new register, and that the period for that exercise should be limited to 2 weeks in order to protect its sanctity. And yet the same people want the limited registration to go beyond the stipulated period in order to capture every elible person. By their logic, compiling a new register will have taken this country more than 3 months, not to talk about the violence, unnecessary challenges and controversies. It would have been war. The EC must be bold and refuse to be dictated to. It must assert it's independence and stick to its planned program. As for the ambiguous Supreme Court ruling, the least said about it the better. The so-called learned judges failed in their civic responsibilities in preserving the peace and stability of the nation by coming out with pronouncements that can only lead to confusion, chaos and conflict. By the way, when the 2012 compilation of the biometric register was done, did the law then allow the NH card to be used? If it so allowed where in lies the logic of a 2015 judgement to put the burden of wrongdoing of those who used the cards to register? How a d why should their judgement take retrospective effect? The mockery of the whole saga of dogmatic followership of archaic legal reasoning is that these judges pretend that a driver's license is a better proof of nationality. Laughable. The law is really an ass.....no need for common sense and rational thinking and reasoning, not to talk about the national interest.
