There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults. This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States, Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

Why will people kick against extension. They will argue like this and make the ec make some arrogant decisions. Then if the youth take the ec to court base on article 42 and 45 of Ghana constitution, the ec will have no choice than to register them. So why don't you give them the opportunity to register so you don't spend so much money going to court and wasting money doing the right thing. Ec please don't listen to these people and do the right thing for once.

First they killed Atta Mills because they felt the man was too lenient to allow free and fair elections with his National Identification Card project. Mahama and his cohorts then chopped the remaining money and dissolved the project. Next they refused an over all new voters register because they want their ghost and foreign names to remain on the register. The question is, the voters register is the EC's business. Why is the NDC so bent on resisting any changes to the register? Why not leave that problem to the EC? Why can't the NDC leave the EC alone to explain themselves to the complaining parties since NDC said they are already satisfied with the register?
