Climate change is a very big subject that governments all over the world need to take seriously especially Ghana.
Over the years, foreign investors have been allowed to mow down all our trees for timber. Developers have been authorised to cut down the sparse trees in and around our cities towns and villages ( they would )Not forgetting our streams and rivers
All our God given resources has been 'aloofly' misused and now we are facing the consequences. Who is listening?

This is the most informative article ever read on Ghanaweb. I think the heading should have been "let's talk about the environment". Excellent piece.

As a country we've lost the plot completely and keep tearing ourselves apart with politics whilst the world matches on without us. Our leadership over the years have failed Ghana not only miserably but big, big time. Nothing matters beyond politics and what need done aren't done. Our future is bleak indeed. Kudos Elizabeth. I love reading from you.

Great article. You forgot to mention the damage that farmers are doing to the rivers as well. Most of the changes to Ghanas weather are self inflicted and nothing to do with the climate change scam.

Well written article. We need to educate the Ghanaian public frequently about these issues to create stronger awareness about them so that the powers that be may be prompted to do something.

Great article and true. Your population is growing too fast. Children in orphanages. Living on the streets. No hope for a future. No jobs, no electric, lack of water. Birth control should be taught and strongly followed.

We need to educate our people on better sanitation and provide bins in public places for waste disposal. The national clean-up day should be the focus of keeping our environment clean and protecting our water resources.
