Ghanaians will make up stories right now and the very first person that hears it, will be so stupid to verify the truth. He'll immediately run with it, tell others as if it happened right in his presence. By the end of the day, that same story had been told in about a million different ways. This is not healthy. Let's desist from this life style, starting from right here.

I do not think Steve has this mentality because he is well schooled by his association with civilized people over many years. Our politicians and community leaders are the ones with this short coming but are not willing to change because the people allow them to take undue advantage. The best place to see them display their "stupidity" is at "funerals", one can clearly see that they live above their means, they are corrupt.

Appiah never cease to amaze me with his humility, honesty and generosity. If only the country's leaders could be 1% as much.
