Which IMF review meeting was ever held in a rural area in Ghana? They are happy to sit in the sun at Labadi Beach and be fed with a bunch of bull from our officials. What does you guys know about that you're defending?
Mr. Crabbe said the seeming instability in the party, disregard for the party’s constitution and the factions created in the party are not good indicators of the party’s preparedness to secure power in the upcoming elections.

He made this known in an interview with the host of 3FM’s morning show Sunrise.

“People rally around individuals in the party, and that is the bane of the party,” he said.

“This is a very big thing that we are on, and if we don’t get the constitution to work, there is no way we can win the election. Elections are not won in isolation. We need to get the party working again, close up the factions and re-unite as one.”

He added that the numerous suspensions and removal of executives from the party without due course is a clear case of the party’s inability to handle its home.

“How much more an entire party?” he wondered.

Mr Crabbe also revealed that some Members of Parliament (MPs) of the NPP are protecting their positions at the expense of the protection of the party because of the numerous removals, suspensions and breach of the party’s constitution.

“Even now information that I am getting and the threats from the Campaign Manager of the presidential candidate of the NPP shows that nothing is going on at the grass roots. The executives in the regions are protecting their position over the victory of the party. Everybody is scared and also interested in maintaining their offices because they never know two or three people will wake up one morning and say they have been removed or suspended. This is what the constitution wanted to avoid, but some people could see over their shoulders, and now this.”

Mr. Crabbe is seen as member of a faction part of which are former party chairman, Paul Afoko, and secretary, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong.

You're obviously very confused. Mahama has made the presidency a mockery. Dumsor has crippled the economy for four years, agriculture is declining, unemployment is rising, high utility tariffs have become unbearable for the people, interest rate is so high that businesses can't borrow and you describe Mahama as a man of action? The cost of living is rising everyday. NHIS has collapsed and people are paying more for health care, there's no more allowance for student nurses and teachers so parents are paying burdened more. These are the main issues, not this useless propaganda Mahama is doing.
I am more than convinced that President Mahama doesn't understand governance. He is a walking disaster for Ghana's fragile economy and he should be kicked out come November.

Firing more Ministers is not an achievement when corruption and incompentence is getting worse. If you appoint more inexperienced Ministers than any other President in the 4th Republic it is only logical that you will drop many more than any of them. This is the only President that has about half of his Ministers and public service appointees attending fulltime degree courses in various institutions whilst in office. They obviously take their own career ambitions and own political/economic survival much more serious than the President's failing vision and mandate.

The President appoints Minisiters so if a Minister is corrupt and he is dropped, then President should bear the responsibility. Strict due diligence should be undertaken prior to the appointment of any person to the position of a Minister. It is one bad apple which starts the rot in a whole bowl of apples. Therefore, the President should consider that dropping corrupt Ministers appointed by himself is not a strength but a weakness which tends to tarnish his own reputation.
