Ghana is paying six times its total oil revenue as interest on the country’s total public debt stock; that’s the computation done by former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

“We’ll reach GHC99billion by the end of this year 2015,” the Running Mate to the Flagbearer of the biggest opposition Party said in a post-budget presentation interview with Richard Sky of Citi FM.

“The interest on this debt alone is going to be six times Ghana’s oil revenue,” Dr Bawumia said.

“When we found oil, we were happy that we found oil, but the borrowing of this Government has compromised the whole oil discovery; you need six times our oil revenue just to pay interest on the debt, not even capital, so, it is a really sad development,” he complained.

I agree with you. Marriage is a good thing but it does not guarantee security and peace. Age does not matter in marriage or love. In fact, I am happy that I enjoyed my youthfulness with someone who made me very happy though we never married. There are young people who are very irresponsible and may make your whole life miserable because you married them( in your youth when there were opportunities). Pastor Otabil should preach to both male and female that life's happiness and peace is assured through discipline, righteousness and responsible behaviour. Men are the one's who have the greater responsibility towards women and children and so their behaviour determines the statusquo. Pastor Otabil's target should be everyone and not exclusive groups.

Most young women take good care of their money after their rich older partners went broke or when the women reach the mature age of 40. They often think they are losing out on all the outside enjoyment getting stuck to an older guy. They will spend their partners money on their younger boy friends or with their close female friends who often give them bad advice. Only 1% of younger females are faithful and loyal to their older partners. Don't just hate the preacher for telling the truth. I don't like these preachers either, but he is right on point with this one.

Its important that in your early years 20-26, you test ride few men to see how they behave and how they think whilst preparing your career. Just jumping to the altar with any clueless classmate you met in school is a recipe for disaster.

In todays world of career professionals few women should marry any first comer out of school. Most career oriented women marry closer to their 30s. Until then woman no be stick. You need to screw someone to release your emotions. And some clever girls choose to screw older men for the experience.

There is nothing wrong with that if you know when to draw the line and call it quits at the right time having gained the experience you looking for. You only become a fool if you screwing someones husband and wishfully thinking that person would be divorcing her Mrs soon to marry you. That is when you would pay a price for your foolishness.

You should know when to kick that 55yr-old in the butts when he comes around and refuses to know that its over and that you need to move on with your life to look for permanent pasture. That I say is a clever girl.

Until then feel free to screw whoever you want to with the necessary protection.

I think Mensah Otabil has cloaked himself with religion that he is not giving himself the opportunity to be test-rided by the numerous beautiful girls around him thus his frustration!

There is the risk of becoming barren through abortions to end unwanted pregnancies. Also, a sexually active woman will always compare men for their prowess in bed. This cannot be good for a marriage, if your husband is not quite as good as the men you have slept with before.

It is prudent for a young woman to keep herself pure and chaste till she marries.

Though otabil has some degree of wisdom in this sermon and what he was preaching about is even everyday wisdom, his aspect with the women lack crediblity
