After they sent Kenya into chaos, they blamed it on Uhuru and tried to jail him in Holland. I fear a lot for NPP now that the US is getting so heavily involved with our politics. The Americans always look for a weak mind to rule Africa so that they can manipulate him or her and I am afraid Nana Addo is too smart for them. The only reason NDC bought Guantanamo prisoners is to get US support to stay in government. This is why Nana Addo did not want to get involved.

We have 2 important problems that are not the fault of EC but our own collective negligence.There is Administrative gap which has existed since Gold Coast.That is to say,we have not deemed it important to have proper registration of new born babies to the authorities in charge.We have not deemed it important to have administrative address where our residence is known to the authorities.We have not deemed it important to issue ID Cards to citizens and foreigners in the country.This is not the making of EC,you can't blame EC for general public adminsistrative shortfall.There is another problem which is technical,the Biometric Voting Device has no capacity to detect who is a minor or reject foreigner from registering.Why do we blame the EC for our collective failure?The question of faulty register with invalid names,concerning minors,foreigners,death and multiple registration.These are not problems caused by the EC but the people of this country.As it stands,NPP should stop blaming the EC for this problem because the EC didn't create it.Now coming to the solution,Germany has given us technical assistance to audit the register.Britain and USA have all given us money to audit the register.How are we going to weed out the invalid names as mentioned above?I think,it will be easy to weed out the multiple registration from the Biometric Register.As for the estimated 600000 dead,they cannot pass the test of biometric verification and vote.If confirmed by proper authorities their names can be eliminated easily.As for foreigners,the party agents should help EC to identify them.Now the most complicated one is about the estimated 200000 minors.How do you tell if somebody is below 18 years?In short,these problems are not the making of EC as NPP has claimed,it's a collect negligence.Who knows the exact number of foreigners on our register?This is what NPP tried to establish but failed woefully so why do you blame the EC?Thank you.

I think the Biometric System can help EC to weed out multiple registration.As for now,we have about 200000 minors identified in the register and 600000 dead names.I don't know about the number of multiple registration but with the assistance of biometric technology I think the audit will be ok.We must support the EC and not always blame them for our own malpractice.Thank you.

Yes, The Media has the right to declared "Projected Winner" from their own analyses after they have gathered all the counted numbers from the nation. Projected winners are always, always declare in advanced nations before the authorities declare the certified result. Whether these guys like it or not the Ghanaian media shall declare the projected winner to the world before the EC result comes. The EC just has to do the proper thing. EC should be seen to be striving to give a credible election. What the EC is doing now make some of think they are up to something funny. Again, come the elections, the media shall declare projected winners. No amount of intimidation and harassment shall prevent the media houses from declaring the projected winner, period!

that word validation used by npp is very shallow, deceptive, unreal and can't be defended in a high level ipac meeting. the biometric voting machines do not allow someone to use another person's id card to vote, so granted there r truly 600,000 dead voters they are dead with their fingers and no one can use their id cards to vote bcus voters are not just allowed to vote with only id card, their fingers are scanned and accepted before they are allowed to vote.

as for the minors and foreigners, npp can report them to the ec during exhibition with evidence so they can be deleted. their so call validation can't delete any minor or foreigner from the register. if minors and foreigners can be detected they would have been detected when they got registered the first time. where were npp when minors and foreigners were registering, if they couldnt stop them then what has changed now?

if i were an npp elections manager i would have just tried to confirm if the biometric machine can be manipulated to allow a different person to use another's id card to vote or not , if that's imposible then campaigning continuous..

also, if the npp's validation is allowed to take place it won't add any improvement to the register except that all legitimate ghanaians who registered in ghana but currently living abroad and planning to come home to vote would be disenfranchised just bcus they couldn't come home to show themselves to the ec so their names got deleted. let the npp deny my analysis.

my finally issue is npp keep comparing nigeria validation to what they r crying for. am really surprised. nigerians did a new register and the cards were not issues instantly like in ghana, but rather a slip which voters had to present later by themselve and collect their prepared id card, those who didn't go with their registration slip didnt get any id card and the inec then compiled a register with persons who got their id cards and excluded all those who didn't come for their card. that was their validation. how can npp with all the big men they have cry for same validation when ghanaian voters are already having their id cards?? as for me am in china and i don't have money to buy flight tickets just to go and show myself to the ec and then buy another tickets home to vote in november, i registered last year , on elections day if i don't come home no one can use my id card to vote bcus my fingers are with me here in china.

some of us aren't happy with jm and ndc performance but npp must sit up and deal with reality. we are discerned voters and won't just accept anything put out there.

Be extra vigilant at the polling stations. Rawlings says, we should be vigilant . Get good people who know numbers and won't sell npp out for money at the polling stations. ignore the old ones who use to Mann the polling stations. They are part of the problem. Save resources for the polling stations. That's where we can win the elections. They should be smart in sending polling stations results to the npp. We need to have the entire results by 1 am after elections. Collate and declare ahead of ec.
