They drift to and support the humble. That is why Kwame Pianim started to make serious waves in the Volta before his own people disowned him because he does not display their group values. We hate unbridled chase for wealth. We don't like loud mouthed, boastful and people of violent character. You see with all that Nana got from his father but ending up with a third class degree is regarded by the Ewes as disgraceful. We call such people "yakame". Such a person cannot be looked up to among the Ewes as fit for leading them. In 2000 the same message was thrown around that Voltarians should try NPP. Wen they decided to try them. The results were not palatable. What happened between 2000 and 2008 will not happen again.

The NPP went on a manhunt for most of the Voltarians. The majority of Volatrians who played a role in the erstwhile NDC administration was Tsatsu Tsikaka. For the first time in the Judiciary matters of this land we had an Individual vrs the President instead of the state.

This is what the NPP are capable of.

Today we are faced with a situation where executives of the NDC are banned from going into a particular chiefs house. All because they shared a different view with the chief. The Truth is that some members of the NPP have pleaded with the Chiefs not to allow any member of the NDC into their palace.

Such attitude must be discouraged and condemned. Imagine how Ghana will be like if all Chiefs or region should ostracize some members of a political party. For me this message goes straight to the NPP who are trying to manipulate some chiefs.

On Ghanaweb, we don't respect the President of Ghana, Vice President, Leader of the Main Opposition Party, Paramount Chiefs, Queen Mothers etc. Is it any wonder that the country is facing so many problems?

It won't be tribal nor ethnic but class, economic, political etc. During AFRC and PNDC class was used to organize the base but unfortunately that changed with divide and rule tactics. If we don't change the country is doomed.
