This is not new, but the difference between now and then is the social media. Traditionally,Candidates in southern Ghana especially those from Accra, Ashanti,Central, Eastern and Western have had this for many years while those from BA and the three northern regions have struggle to pass the exams on merit.

It is time to put an end to this garbage so that there is equal chance to admission into the universities. The Candidates from Northern Ghana and BA have been disadvantage for so long.
I will soon come up with an NGO to monitor and advance workable solutions to this secrete games that have very much contributed to the North/South Ghana GAP in development and education opportunities.

The next day, she came in and saw the same word on the chalkboard, but a little bit bigger. She erased it and went on with her lesson.

Each of the next several days, the teacher would come in to find “penis” on the board, a little larger each time.

Since most phones are registered and the "apo" am told is transmitted by a particular number. They should simply get the BNI to pick the numbers and arrest all the non students but leave the students to continue with the exams. The non students should be prosecuted and the students should have all subjects that hit their phones cancelled. If the non students are picked up now it will possibly reduce the continued leakage. As a country we must also relook the bad practices including protocol where people who know politicians or have relations in high places don't have to pass well to get into good schools. That is enough incentive for some un scrupulous parents to get papers prior to the exam taking place for their kids. WAEC must walk through the whole process of printing and transporting the papers to the final destination plus the actual exams itself to close the gaps. We should also avoid scape goats as the leakage am sure will be more predominant in Accra and all regional capitals where the kids of rich people who can afford SMART mobile phones attend. The Ashanti twist is unfortunate but I don't think it is a good way of resolving a national issue. I foresee more leakages ahead if this politicization is not stopped.
