The trouble is when we do not hold our leaders to a very high standard of conduct and performance abuse is what happens? No one seems to talk about state investigative institutions that will make abuse the unattractive option in the first place?. Don't we do ourselves a disservice when we glorify office holders when we have not seen any evidence of the transformations in our lives that will make them worthy of our praise?

These probes will not only uncover thefts and embezzlements that the government can attempt to recoup, but also act as a deterrent against future wrongs by those who serve in government. What is unfolding in Nigeria regarding the handling of murderer Abacha's loot by previous administrations is a classic example why such a probe is very necessary.
You go and probe them through the courts, no need to wait forever since it will be hallucinations for this dream to materialise.
