The NMC is failing to control GBC. It is the NMC that has failed the people of Ghana. Instead of appointing someone who could stay on for at least 8 years to steer the affairs of GBC, they went for someone who could only stay for three years because of statutory retirement age of 60.Now that the DG has gone it is a field day for the rats. Shame on NMC

The staff are also interested in huge allowances so anybody who talks about cutting down on their allowances is an enemy to them. Let them run GBC down and move to other companies or establish their own NGO's.

GBC needs to wake up. GBC must change to be up to speed with many of the private media houses that are doing excellently well or else yes, GBC will fail. They can't think that they can hide behind the noise using the media and remain where they were over 30years ago. Without a change in attitude and interesting and creative content, GBC will definitely sink so concerned GBC staff, wake up.

Bloated allowances indeed. How can GBC be creating more TV stations when they claim they do not have enough resources to run the existing ones. recently it came to light Brong Ahafo cannot receive GTV signals in the region because GBC is unable to settle ECG indebtedness. Yet on the same platform the acting director general hinted that they were going to open a new TV station in Kumasi solely for Ashanti culture? GBC can't be serious.

Since when did the union appoint board members? Do you know what, the Board wont tell you the truth but that they have lost faith in you all long ago. But they wont tell you because due process does not allow them to sack you. Calling for the dissolution of the Board is nonsense and if the NMC yields to this then that is the end of the corporation. The best is the NMC to call your bluff, you down your tools, and then new people are brought in to run the place. Fools
