Don't argue over things you don't understand. This incentive is used in the advanced world where the leaders are thinkers. It has been tried and tested and is a sure way to encourage businesses employ more graduates to benefit from the tax break. Yes in some of the companies the jobs are there but they will rather overburden existing staff than recruit new graduates to do some of these jobs. A tax incentive is a sure way to reverse this behaviour of some big and small companies and also help reduce graduate unemployment.

In all the cases that I know tax incentives are given to employ apprentices who are not even paid by the companies who offer the apprenticeship positions. How can such a policy be introduced in Ghana when the government is struggling to pay even teachers, nurses, etc? How will Bawumia plug the taxhole that will emerge as a result of the taxes that these companies will be exempted from?

I am sure Dr.Bawumia did not check for this.
You can cross check from navigating Taxation on pwc website as part of the facts contained in the GRA Act 2015 (Act 89 6).
Politicians should always put the nation first before their interest.

Nana Addo's toy.You campaign on Ghana' economy will never ever get you votes that will make you vice president.Iam happy you are known all over to be NANA ADDO's toy and Dr Pincksheet and no Ghanaian would like their vice president to be Named and called Nana Akufo Addo toy.If wishes were elephants all Ghanaians would have been satisfied with Nana Addo slaughtered elephant's meat,so it is easy to say than sustainability of your economic policies you did not implement for 8 good years and want to fool Ghanaians to get power and recover you hard earn cash lockedup with Nana Addo.

Bawumia is just talking as if he has iron-cast,easy solutions for the huge graduate unemployment problem facing the nation. He thinks Ghana's economy is so big that it can absorb the tax hole that the tax exemptions will create. The answer to the unemployment problem lies in the expansion of the economy. The more the economy expands the more jobs that will be created for graduates. If ghanaians will patronize home made goods the economy will expand to give jobs to more graduates.Graduates should also be encouraged to move away from office jobs and get trained in professions that will help them become self-employed.Go to the advanced countries and you will find graduates who are bus drivers, taxi drivers, computer repairers, home decorators, etc. Are our graduates prepared to do such jobs?
