The dismissed recruits have nobody to blame for their stupidity but themselves. The training that they deemed difficult has been used on other trainees before, so this wasn't anything designed to be punishing or difficult. Secondly, if they felt they were being harshly treated, they could have directed their grievances through the proper channels. Instead of demonstrating, they could've contacted an MP or gone through the chain of command to present their complaints. They should give it up and seek civilian employment, because the army will not reinstate them.

What these naive sacked recruits are doing now rather proves right why they were sacked. They were sacked for mutiny based allegedly, on their claim that the training was too tough. Now, by gathering again as a group to influence the government to reverse their sack, they are proving that they are indeed masters in mutiny. It is not for nothing that soldiers are not permitted under their regulations to demonstrate for any such gathering to demand any reliefs is considered as mutiny.
