In Sheikh Ibrahim’s view, rather than painting the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a warmonger, he should be praised for his “exemplary” role in ensuring that Ghana remained in one piece after the turbulent 2012 presidential poll, which, although he challenged in a petition, conceded after the Supreme Court upheld President John Mahama’s victory, so as to fritter the tension that pervaded at the time.

The above statement shows that Irbard doesn't believe in the verdict of the supreme court or he praised Nana for not executing what we all thought he will do (ALL DIE BE DIE).

But Irbard, let me tell you it is never too late. If Nana is not thinking what he is going to do, he is going to do what he is thinking.

How then do you call experts who enter a country through its approved route upon an invitation of a well-known organization to undertake the sharpening of skills of employees of their hosts in their field of endeavor mercenaries? What our security has done to those experts from South Africa is sheer proof that the security services of Ghana are compromised and contrary to having their allegiance to the state of Ghana they now pander to party in power and for that matter, any particular government at any point in time. This is a shame. Ample evidence has in the past shown this fact, both through their actions and inactions. No doubt any person(s) who feel insecure about the way our security is handling their personal security issues would be naive and stupid to trust their lives into any compromised security institution. Self preservation is the first law of nature and persons who undertake that ought not be faulted
Our security services, particularly the internal security services should go back to the enviable past when those institutions laudably played their PROFESSIONAL roles for which they have been brought into being.to the admiration of the whole World.
To curtail all this nonsense that brings national disgrace, the appointing authority of all Security Capos should, I dare suggest, be taken away from the President or Head of state who acts upon the recommendation of our rump Councils of State and such appointing authority be laid in the bosom of a legally constituted body within the particular security service. It is then, and only then, that we shall have security Capos who can look into the eyes of the President or his/her assigns and tell him/her, "sir, I am sorry this or that order order goes contrary to my professional ethics..."

This guy needs to get serious to win.
I am very disappointed in the NPP as it stands. This is a party that boasts a legacy built by some of the best political and legal minds in Ghanaian history, but the current batch of NPP members, and their flag bearer is just an absolute joke. We all know (even the NDC faithful) that this Mahama government has been disappointing in various ways. Although Mahama has made various impressive and noteworthy strides in economic infrastructure, he has failed in various administrative ways that have led to some of the economic hardship we see in the country. Now instead of Akuffo Addo and his NPP to put together a BETTER plan for Ghanaians, they resort to politics of lies and mistold truths, especially led by Bawumia, who claims credibility just because he is a well renowned economist. Akuffo Addo claims he's not violent but DOES NOT openly condemn AND investigate AND prosecute the bouts of violence that has plagued his political party. He claims he is not corrupt but secret bank accounts were opened in his wake that are NOT currently being investigated because the people who tried to investigate them were dismissed by party officials - WHICH HE DID NOT CONDEMN, but told his party faithful to accept. He claims he can work with people, but has shown time and time again that he doesn't tolerate opposing views - unlike his predecessor Kuffuor. Party faithful are disappointed, don't get fooled by their talk. I had expected more from this party, as a viable alternative to the NDC, but I'm afraid to say NDC will win power again because it's too late for Akuffo Addo and his irresponsible cronies to put a better face to their party right now. Now there is this ex-cops from SA situation.... Really??? This is a man who claims he will salvage the recourses in this country to improve it, but is quick to bring in ex-cops from a foreign country to train his men... His driver and photographer too!? Water tariffs has been reduced by 10-15%,Petroleum products has also gone down by 2% and DUMSOR,since the turn of the year has improved immensely.Mahama is committed to fighting corruption,changing lives and transforming.Classrooms haven't collapsed under Mahama's administration.However he has built 200(123)schools of which are on course.

He is working;Ghanaians will bear testimony during the November 7,2016 elections.
