THE INSCRIPTION OF THE SAID SHIP TELLS US ITS ORIGIN. THE WORRY IS WHY THE COAST PATROLS DID NOT SEE ITS INTRUSION INTO GHANAIAN WATERS. BE WARE OF TROJAN HORSES, GHANA NAVY.

"A ship has run aground on the shore" is a better expression.

  • Kweku Donsuro 10 years ago

Yes, a ship cannot be washed ashore. It can be listing, floundering and run aground as Abena pointed out. All that is shipwreck, where the ship beaches or drifts onto the rocks and is grounded.

  • Abonsam Fireman 10 years ago

Okay simply: a ship was seen ashore..." or .." a ship found itself near the shore..." ebei!

  • THOMAS DUKORMEVI 10 years ago

WHY DDNT U TELL US WHAT SHIPS DO?

  • Odikro 10 years ago

This is a "carcass" of a ship, probably a ship that sank several years ago. In that case, the ship can be "washed" ashore.

  • Fred 10 years ago

Yes! ships can be washed ashore. It's an object! Unless otherwise (motorized) This's the English language and not a "nautical jargon class"
    Too known "Ghanaian"

  • MR. EL-DEENI 10 years ago

RE:ENGLISH.. U Shd hv said.."too knowing" it x jx a correction bt nt a competition.

  • Wisdom 10 years ago

If it says "Lome" on it and Lome Togo is just a stone away why wont they call the Togolese authorities?

  • Billy 10 years ago

You are correct. Lome Port is just about three kilometers away from Aflao border. it may be an abandoned ship there which the tidal waves have pushed to Aflao. The Togolese Authorities will definitely come for it.

  • DIAMOND 10 years ago

Well, if the ship is dead, totally wrecked, it can wash ashore can't it?

Anyway, this ship looks too damn heavy to "wash ashore".

There's something very spooky about this craft. Here's my take on the possibilities:
