The question however remains. John Dramani Mahama says he is undertaking infrastructure projects in this country. Those projects as well as the artistic impressions(sic)captured in the NDC Green book, as stated by Dr. Bawumia could never be more than $7billion dollars. John Mahama has however accumulated a debt of a little over $37billion dollars. Ghanaians want to know the cost of those projects John Dramani Mahama says he is undertaking in this country so we can reconcile the figures, because those projects cannot be more than $7billion dollars. So where is the rest of the $30billion dollars? This is the credibility deficit of John Mahama, Koku Anyidoho is cocksure is in tatters, because John Dramani Mahama cannot provide that figure. This question about reconciliation of the figures is however on the ballot. It is an election issue and John Mahama must answer. Where is the $30billion dollars?

And, it's being orchestrated by the John Kuffour faction of the opposition, NPP. By himself, JK is a decent man, a patriot, I think. I attended a fund-raising for him in the Bronx, NY, prior to his run-up against John Mills, and was bowled over by his dynamism and force of personality.

So, it's not him personally, I think, pulling the strings against Nana's candidacy. It's the gaping sycophants around him. And, I detest those to the very core of my being. Somehow, and am not being petty here, they believe that with their ethnic plurarity they have to be kowtow to- "kissing of the ring of the Kingdom" - by all aspirants to the office of the Presidency of the Republic.
Folks, the Republic is bigger than just any one ethnic group. And, as Machivallean as the persons cited in this article pretend to be, they - and their acolytes- can't expect, in the future, to assume the office of the Presidency, in an unlikeist case, Nana loses the election because of this orchestrated sabotage. Political memory is very elephantine! And, all this is being masked as a freedom of speech within the party. What asinine!

Get on with it. The party has a nominee for the election on November 07. Stop the brutish and childish utterances in the media and mount a credible campaign for the soul of the nation.The fortunes of the Republic - for yourselves, your children and their children's children- depends on how you guys grow up politically, and assume political power from the do - nothing NDC , who in my view- shared by many- are out of their league.

Look, I haven't lived in Ghana since the summer of 1972. But just all blacks everywhere- diasporean, Pan Africanists- every morsel of progress on the continent gives us the re-assurance of that probable greatness we've always expected and believed in the black man. Don't be sophomoric in your thinking .And, don't blow it.
