I was listening to the commentary on this accident. It was sad to hear that the whole kintampo area has no ambulance. The injured were at the mercy of taxi and pick up drivers. Yet the government officials in the area have land cruisers. These same officials claim they are serving the people and the community. Are they serving or they are being served? A government of the politicians, by the politicians and for the politicians. That is the kind of government Ghana is practicing.

Frank, that Metro Bus drivers are one of the worst drivers on the roads in Ghana,I personally two times warned those drivers for careless driving on the road, they have no respect for traffic laws and they are above traffic laws, police don't stop or pull them over, they go at any speed they want and always tailgating other drivers, they think they are above the law,it is a lawless company so anytime I hear they are involved in accident I'm not surprised.

The Metro Mass Transport Company was taken over in a Rambo style by the NDC Foot soldiers, soon after Ata Mills took over from the Kuffuor administration. As such, 99% of the management and employees, especially the drivers, are all untrained. This is the major reason why the Metro Mass transport company has become an eye sore and carnage on the Ghanaian roads. When party politics becomes the only means party followers can butter their bread, of course, this is some of the results to be seen. The NDC politics led by Atta Mills, and John Mahama to rule Ghana at all cost, without the rules of the political game, by taking advantage of the Ghanaian impoverishment and illiteracy is to blame. Shame on you NDC, Ghanaians, this is what you get for being "stupidly ungrateful", I care for you, indeed!

It all boils down to lack of street lights, that's all.

In this day and age who in his right mind will construct one lane highway with many vehicles in the system. The so called highways in Ghana are death traps, head collisions are bound to occur during any accident. Now to fix the problems the authority will blame the drivers for the accident, which is not true, the blame falls on the heads of those who constructed these death traps in the country. The Ghanaian intellectuals have failed the masses, why will they allow these roads to be constructed in the country baffles me, because one lane highways was good then, when there were fewer vehicles on our roads in the fifties through the seventies, but not now, Ghana needs two or three lane highways on our major roads, not in the cities which does not make sense.
