    Government has to intervene in the economy in order to protect the poor from the greed of private businessmen like Otabil and also ensure that the poor get their fair share of basic necessities eg water, education etc

    It boils down to the fundamental problem raised by Dr. Otabil--- businessmen need to be associated with politics/politicians for them to survive. Everything is govt/politics.
