Where is the economy? The prsident and his people have collapsed the economy with almost GHS100billion debt in seven years. Everything is broken down with high electricity and water tarrifs, high fuel prices, power crises for four years resulting in massive job losses and factory closures, high transportation fares, etc. Many companies are relocating to Ivory Coast and Nigeria. Corruption, stealing and sole sourcing are the order of the day. The govt borrowed over GHS4billion and will borrow GHS6.3billion in February, 2016. Which economy do you want us to believe in?

We all heard the Finance Minister, Seth Terkper say yesterday that the economy is slowly picking up. The IMF has also passed a vote of confidence in our economy forecasting that the current pains of stabilising the economy will begin to yield good fruits .All these prove that our economy is on the path of recovery as a result of interventions made. Ghanaians are very satisfied with what govt has done so far and they will vote based on that

According to Seth Terkper, the economy is picking up and investors will start bringing in cash .The fiscal consolidation measures have ensured the reduction of our budget deficit. There was a deficit of nearly 12% in 2013 and that is what is being resolved. Now the deficit stands at 7.3%, a clear indication that fiscal consolidation measures are being successfu. Govt is now looking at a target of 4.5% and 5%." This indeed highlights the progress of the economy.

We must learn to show maturity when expressing our opinions. Insults & attacks on personalities does not augur well in the fabric of our society as far as politics is concerned. The President ,JDM with able support from vice president Amissah Arthur has distributed 10,000 made in Ghana school sandals to pupils in selected deprived districts. Also with able support from Kwesi Amissah Arthur , five hundred thousand pieces of school uniforms and thirty thousand computers are being disturbed to schools across the country. All these are efforts being made by the vice Prez and the NDC to enable school going children have access to better education and decrease the burden on their parents.
