  The Anglican priest is right, we need them at home for our security.

  Many countries are fighting terrorist out from their countries while President Mahama is importing some from Yemen to Ghana and at the same time opening our gate and boarders in the name of vote buying to our country.

  After participating in three peacekeeping missions, he now seeks to deny others of that opportunity. It is the allure of peacekeeping which attracts many Ghanaian youths to join the army as a legitimate way of making some money, instead of deploying their energies on vices such as armed robbery.

In any case I don't remember the Ghana Armed Forces coming out to Say they are under strength to handle the current security situations in Ghana which should call for withdrawal of those serving in foreign missions. Oso please with all due respect come again. This one in my view is below belt.

  Ghana army is only good for coups or sent out to die elsewhere. May be on night patrols with police officers collecting money from DV plate car owners.

Let them make more cash from the foreign missions. What we need to do is strenthen the police service to handkle internal security matters. OLD FASHION SOLDIER

  The advise the Rev minister is offering is bad. He has got it wrong. I can confidently say that the peace we are enjoying is partly because of our involvement in international peacekeeping missions. Even though Ghanaian soldiers are loyal, the few dollars they get as allowance from the missions supplement their salaries, making them to be content with whatever monies they are paid. Withdraw them and see if the country will ever see peace. When they begin to starve,you can imagine the implications. Any little money given to them by any trouble maker can cause them to take arms against the state. Kenya troops are on missions,yet Kenya is fighting Al-Shabaab militants. So osofo dont mislead the state.

  The Anglican Priest ought to know that during his time, he did off his best, so he should leave soldiers alone to do as taken the oath. He should look forward to his ministerial affairs. His request would not be taken.
