Key indicators: Roads, Energy, Water and Sanitation (REWS). These make the other infrastructure and services functional. It's particularly important the toll on the lungs the dust - laden harmattan brings is lessened by ensuring that there are no dusty roads and streets in residential areas. It can be done. It will save both indivdual and national healthcare costs. Healthy lungs are vital. We cannot develop amidst dusty roads and streets. MPs and assembly men should ensure that their communities achieve REWS

So Upper West which placed 7th. was able to beat Volta. Ei Voltarians, do you see yourselves? No development yet you continue to vote for NDC. You don't use your brains to vote because of tribalism. NDC government does not respect you because they know that they can treat you anyhow but you will still vote for them. That's the truth. Take it or leave it. Same appies to Northern and Central.

I do not doubt the credibility of the institutions that compiled this list of all the districts , municipal and metropolitan assemblies. However I do feel is unfair on poorer districts like WA municipality to be compared to Tema metropolis, the number of companies alone in Tema the revenues they pay to the Tema assembly is enough to give Tema the needed development they need. In the WA municipality we don't have enough avenues to generate more revenues to compete effectively so in my understanding I think is unfair to classify all assemblies under one roof. What CDD and the other institutions need to do is to categorised all the assemblies into 3 groups namely Rich, average and poor assemblies and compare them against their group members. The current WA municipal chief Nuhu is doing a good job with scare recourses to bring development to the municipality so it will there fore be unfair to judge all districts under one umbrella considering disparities interns of revenue generation and resources available, some of these assemblies are are 'Orphans ' and need more help especially the poorer ones

The objective Suf is for fair distribution of resources. All citizens are expected to benefit from the resource utilization therefore it is also unfair for citizens to have it all and others in rural areas not have anything at all. In effect we all have to get together and ensure that there is fair distribution of resources hence the ranking. If Tema has it all then it is not fair to continue giving them resources but rather channel those resources to areas where it is needed in other areas. let us not forget also that eventhough Tema was the overall top district, it does not mean that they are delivering on citizen wellbeing in all the six areas. Tema might have scored more on marks on health but less on security.
So even that it means the district stakeholder will have to rethink through how they allocate resources.
I hope this is useful.
