If you are a Ghanaian, I think you know very well where you came from so, just pack your tools and go there and leave the people of Agogo alone.

The people of Agogo have swallowed your nonsense for far too long and I wish they can kill any cattle on sight including those herdsmen. Enough of your nonsense. Leave Agogo and go back to where you came from with your cattles. Cattles, as we know, are reared in savanna areas and not forest area where people grow plantain and other food stuff.

It's only in Ghana that such unconscionable things can happen. So his statements are that he has cattle in the area and that his cattle never destroyed anybodies farm - how did he come to that conclusion. That if his cows destroy someones farm they should look for him somewhere in Kumasi, I guess, to report it to him. God have mercy on our dear country!

All that you need to do is to buy a acres of land and build a fence around it, build simple sleeping quarters for the hired person and let the cows graze on your own purchased acres of land. These are some of the people behind the Fulani herdsmen cattle menace. The issue is not about the Fulani herdsmen, because the Fulani herdsmen do not graze on the farms, it is the cattle.
So to fix the problem at the root, all the cattle, not a single one should be left to graze anywhere in Agogo or on any farm for that matter.
All the cattle should be slaughtered, do not leave a single one of them, slaughter them.
Then let's see the Fulanis turn into cattle to graze on those farms.
That is the first and radical solution to the menace.
The second solution that should have been coming from the highly clueless, dimwitted and unintelligent Mahama-led NDC gov't would have been for a law or an act to be promulgated along the lines of Grazing Rights Act, where the owners of these cattle, pay compensation to either the state or the municipal authority for grazing on lands specifically designated for grazing.
The amount of taxes to be realized cannot begin to be imagined.
The third solution that could provide for jobs along the value chain would be for owners of these cattle to have their own land for grazing by their cattle, ie a kraal where veterinary services can be easily rendered as well as husbandry services.
Others could also go into large scale cultivation of hay or whatever grass the cattle feed on, so the cattle can graze or feed during the dry season where, naturally growing grass would not be available for grazing, which accounts for the nomadic movement of the Fulani herdsmen.
With this approach, one can see a whole value chain of jobs created, taxes that could accrue to the gov't whilst preventing this senseless state of affairs.
This is how you get to address issues when you have a gov't that can think, can think, is capable of thinking, should be thinking, has the means and capacity to think and is seriously thinking about the need to think and has developed the ability to think.
Clearly, the John Mahama NDC gov't is by far not just the most unintelligent and clueless gov't ever, but the most irresponsible most especially, when the President ie John Dramani Mahama owns cattle and benefits from the current state of affairs.
How can he therefore lead this country?
Ghana must sack this highly useless and clueless, incompetent, unintelligent, irresponsible, corrupt and non-thinking Mahama-led NDC gov't at the ballot box in November pronto.

The cattle would be shot at sight whenever they tresspass into any farmers farm to destroy farm crops period. The Fulanis should return to wherever they come from don't they have a place they call their own?
