It's very unfortunate some of the language used by the NDC Women's Organiser in her statement such as "people seeking to destroy this young lady by engaging in peripherals should bow down their heads in disappointment and shame". They are not seeking to destroy anyone let alone Dr Zenator Rawlings. They are seeking to strengthen constitutional democracy within NDC and Ghana.

I also do not think this matter is a question of men versus women and should not be turned into one.

The challenge is on principle and that is, was Zanetor qualified to have contested the primaries by NDC's own Constitution? According the the Greater Accra NDC Chairman the reason why Zenator's name was not on the NDC voters register used for the election was because she was not a registered voter in the constituency. If so why was she cleared by NDC to contest? Was she because she is the daughter Ex-President Rawlings who is the founder of NDC?

Again, one of the methods through which Ghana's democracy can be strengthened and sustained is by testing the various governing documents that regulate and guide constitutional democracy through the courts. I have no doubt that by Ghana's Constitution if Zenator registers during the EC's limited registration exercise, she would be eligible to contest the November 2016 Parliamentary elections. However, she was not properly elected by NDC because she did not qualify by NDC's constitution to contest the primaries. That made her election null and void and should not be allowed to contest the parliamentary elections in November. In the first place, had she been an ordinary person, she would have been disqualified because she was not an NDC registered voter. I believe that is what Nii Nii Armah Ashitey and Nii Johnson Coleman are seeking to clarify or establish by going to the High Court. That is the right thing to do and they should be applauded not insulted.

Dr Zenator Rawlings should not be given preferential treatment because her father is the founder of NDC. No one is above the law. The court action by the two should be seen as a contribution to the development of constitutional democracy.

Kofi Ata,can you please tell us when you heard the Greater Accra Regional Chairman used these same words or say something like this,can you tell the world and show us any story like this reportedly said by the regional chairman,can you give us the source of your information?
Let us stop putting words in others mouth,people like you should know better not to say things that are not accurate about what people said.
For your information,Zanetor was not the only person who couldn't vote that day,many people also didn't find their names in the register to vote throughout the country but that does not mean they are not registered voters,Zanetor was vetted by the party and one of the requirements was to show you are a registered voter.
This Ashitey guy,a sore loser thought he could win the election and used all kinds of propaganda including entering the gutter for the first time in his life cleaning gutters to win but this young lady destroyed him politically in a landslide but instead of supporting the winning candidate as others did to him in the past he is now cutting corners to get the nomination back by using others to sue the young lady and when that failed he now went to court himself to overturn the choice of the people,he should know that as far as Ghana's parliament is concerned,he is finished,he should concentrate on his clearing agent job in the Tema Harbor and accept the choice of the people,in democracy no matter how bitter it is to lose election you have to accept the choice of the people,he will lose that case and disgrace himself mores game on him.

Your nervous hidden agenda of unnecessary abuse with references of EWES, SYRIANS and LEBANES of what GAS are to them is the way you want to see it, hence that describe you as a village stupid thing than you see yourself.

Mr Ashietey can let it go just like he had stayed cool till this moment of reacting via the court suit, which is the normal way of seeking a solution by the democratic means.

In your view, is Mr Ashietey wrong if the NDC may follow what it preaches namely accountability. Whatever manner the woman, the so called NDC women organiser acted, that is the village low mentality way of understanding politics in Ghana.

Both Rawlings and the wife have been preaching issues of justice so this is the test of their talks as to whether they mean it or not, because it is always said that it is easily said than done.

I see the whole show as interesting but it is only unfortunate that people of low mentality want to take it like fight with abusive languages of blasting Ashietey as I could read which should not have been.

On the normal basis, the parents of Dr Zenator are politicians who are aware of the 100 percent rights of the MP to challenge whatever he feels never went well at the court, and that is what the MP has done. The MP follows the NDC law requirements in relation to be a candidate of the Party.

There is no way this ought to be read into tribal politics. People in Ghana today who have shown interest in politics are not aware of the real meaning of politics, and that is the nation's big problem we are all facing.

Finally your level of understanding this too could help you to read things well politically or not. However i believe you can help yourself to see things well.

Nii Armarh Ashitey should go and come no more. He should by now know that he is no longer needed as MP in his constituency. He has not been showing any concern to his constituents; now what does he want? He will fail.

I do not weep for Ashietey. He is one of many young men who thirty six years ago, sold their conscience to Rawlings, cheered him on and sheepishly approved of anything he said or did. Rawlings has used your blind support to build his family fortune and to educate his children. What is now left for him is to ride on your backs once more, to push his daughter to political office. This is the time to cheer him on rather louder. If you have learnt any lesson the better it is for you and all who have followed the Ndc .

One of these days,I will call in and tell the whole Ghana what Mrs.Lordina Mahama came to America with,the hotel they slept in and the people she came with with diplomatic passports!
