Ivor Greenstreet said directly to President John Mahama and Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur that: “You don’t care”.

“Nobody is feeling your better Ghana”, Greenstreet shouted when he delivered his party’s solidarity message to the NDC at the congress at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Ashanti regional Captial, Kumasi – stronghold of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In the full glare of the President, Vice President, former President Jerry Rawlings, and thousands of leaders and supporters of the NDC, a defiant Greenstreet said: “…Currently nobody, I mean nobody is feeling your better Ghana.”

“Continuous ‘dumsor dumsor,’ corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out, and all the challenges you are facing [are] suffocating the Ghanaian people.”

He added: “We would have thought that perhaps you may have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation, but no, you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other.”

“Ghanaians are not happy at all. This ‘bronya’ is dry. Too too dry,” he told the President, adding: “The most painful thing of all is that you don’t care.”

“NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you, do what you want to do, we also know what we’ll come and do…make sure you’ll elect executives who will be able to steer your parties affairs when you are in opposition. Boys abr3.”

The wheelchair-bound Politicians has been called names and criticised by leaders and supporters of the NDC after his bluntness. While Majority Leader Alban Bagbin has said he believed Greenstreet was possessed by some demons, which caused him to be “so emotional”, presidential staffer Sam George wrote on his Facebook wall that: “Ivor Greenstreet apparently needs elevation to see the Better Ghana.”

However, Nkrumah said Greenstreet’s message was crafted by the CPP to capture the mood and mind of the entire country.

Ordinarily, I would not even waste a second to read such garbage from you. But I rethought about your fate and status as a possible troubled Youth, misguided and ill-programed to imbibe crass raffishness as some high grade norm of our civilized World, and felt sorry for you.

So, I would like to do you the favor of explaining why I didn't have to set a prelude to my comment on the Corporal with Akua Donkor's ambition.

I have never thought Akua Donkor is qualified to stand for a President. I have never supported her in that quest. But I would not deny her right to fight for what she wants to achieve.

Similarly, I did not attack the Corporal's right to choose the path he has taken. But I thought he would be in for a great disappointment, if he did not take into consideration the high expectation, especially, among NPP members for candidates vying for the post he has set his eyes on.

NPP is characteristically more elitist than any of our other Political Parties, and my experience teaches me that it would be hard for anyone with as modest a background as the Corporal's to be offered such an Appointment that he seeks.

The Corporal would be better off pursuing higher Academic laurels, if he has abandoned the chance to rise through his Profession with the Police, before seeking any Political high ranking position among the NPP.

Therefore, if you have any gumption to assess realities to churn out the truth, quit your infantile tantrums with which you are fumigating our forums with your fecal-spluttering flatulence, and help advise the Corporal appropriately.

Akua Donkor was not the focus of our attention in that discussion. And her situation is far removed from what the Corporal finds himself in. Her case is too stale for wasting any comment on. Most Ghanaians only saw her drive as bringing a little comic relief to our over-stressed political scene. No one believed her as any viable Candidate for our Presidency, except that People thought they had to tolerate her to learn a bit about what folks from her background might offer our Politics in terms of the very-much-ignored illiterates with natural wisdom for leadership.

I hope I have done enough tutoring of you to help you submit better counter arguments with any constructive import next time.

At less those in de service who had served for some yr like 14 or 15 years need to consider for academic promotion.
