After the formation of this ndc it was scrapped off and then nepotism set in. You go to the police and army and the number of Gas are just a few like the akans, where as it wasn't like that before ndc. Ghana army forces boasted of fine gentlemen of the Ga tribe but now its like the Gas are not Ghanaians even Togolese from their country are enjoying more in Ghana than the indigenes. In which army law is it coated that soldiers should pay from their pocket money in building govenment building ?? Commanding officers making us pay huge amounts and when going they take everytin away and wen da next one comes he comes to tell u nothing in the unit accounts so let's pay more and when his going he also boots away wid it...they should take us fools for today !! Other tanks bring treated as slaves !! U go on peace mission one year you are being paid $10,800 ...shame to the govenment of Ghana n mostly the military command ...this year you gonna count more than 500 soldiers leaving the work this year !! THESE OTHER SERVICES HAVE MORE THAN 80% OF THEIR WORKFORCE RENTING IN TOWN WITH NO FREE LIGHT OR WATER AS IS ENJOYED BY THE GHANA ARMED FORCES. ON THE CONTRARY THEY SEE THE MILITARY AS A FAR BETTER PLACE TO BE. Infact, its true that alot of other ranks are resigning on daily basis. Just call in for our new pay structure and see the cheating am talking about. A newly trained officer takes pay equavallent to a long-service WO2 who has being in the military for not less than 18-20yrs. Nothing good goes to the other ranks. Instead of UN peace-keeping allowances being $200 a day per every soldier, we are being paid $30 per day. Since the inception of Single spine salary structure in Jan 2009, all other security services eg police, immigration, prisons service, fire service, etc had arrears but no single soldier was given a coin as arrears. UN donated some monies to all countries participating in peace-keeping operations over some years now for those monies to be shared to soldiers,nothing has been heard about it ever since. Even now, there is no Risk allowance in our pay. So why should any well educated fellow still remain in this job with all these crippling situations? Infact, we prefer our pay should come directly from Controller and Accountant Generals Department (CAGD) directly to soldiers not through any dubious pay office. Soldiers are now fed-up with the colonial slavery. Lets not pray for the worst to happen!!! Kindly allow Anas in the barracks and lets see the ROT at the top in the military.

The truth of the matter is that the opposition NPP is behind this mass resignation from the army. They have recruited these soldiers to be trained as dissidents to fight the govt. in case the NPP loses the oncoming elections. The security agents should monitor their movements and activities crush them before they do any harm to the nation.

Resignation in the Ghana Armed Forces is true.Now in the Ghana Armed Forces if you do not know anybody at the top please forget.Just recently some troops were supposed to travelled to South Sudan but due to one way or other it could not happen.So the Authority decide to send them to the same place the following year which is this year 2016 Feb.We have some in the Force which is BFT in which the Old people whom they suppose to be in South Sudan by now had done theirs already with the require TOET and because of the corruption at the Darkop Office they decide to fail some of them And bring new troops in which they had NOT gone for e TOET for the Ops which is very Bad in such manner.Now due to this many troops are even planning to leave the job.
