  Government is now making plans to halt bird flu? What a shame! Last year when the bird flu was detected, the minister of agriculture and his colleagues rather put in requests for 4X4 vehicles. Now the bird flu is still spreading and the deputy minister of agriculture says nobody should talk about the bird flu. The agriculture minister and his deputies do not even know what they are about. No doubt agriculture has been declining over the last few years. It is a good move that the agriculture minister has been taken off and replaced.

  We the people of Volta region will not let NDC take us for granted again thinking that we are their world bank irrespective of whatever happens in the country. As much as we dont like NPP party, NDC is making a fool of us. We saw what NPP did for the country with social interventions and all people from Volta region enjoyed them too. 
  We are sending the message to NDC that the Volta region is full of people with wisdom and as the Amenfi by-election showed with reduced votes for NDC, so shall it be in the Volta region. We want to be known as the region that makes government like Central, Greater Accra, Western, Brong Ahafo and Northern. We refuse to be the world bank for NDC.
  This is a warning to NDC. We deserve better and we are not seevants to any party.
