She said she'd have to go home and think about it and that she'd call him back in a hour with her occupation.

An hour later she called him and said, "I've got it... I'm a chicken farmer."

He said, "How do you get chicken farmer out of prostitution."

She said, "I raised over a thousand cocks last year."

How the hell do you have a country, as poor as ours (Ghana), whereby the HIGHEST PAID CIVILIAN doesn't have to pay Income or Property tax?? Even rich countries, which can easily EXEMPT their presidents or prime ministers from paying taxes DO PAY TAXES—as a "social and moral responsibility of a leader." I’ve criticized this exemption many times and Nduom is right on target.

Even foolishly, our presidents don't know that a "TOKEN TAX" paid annually would go a long way to motivate the poor workers to also pay their taxes. Where the hell do our presidents think the workers get the money to pay income and property taxes, to develop the country, while they can't??

But, note: It's not only the president who doesn't pay taxes; there are so many other government officials who do not pay taxes in Ghana. In America, President Obama and wife will make their 2015 Income Tax available to the American public in mid-April 2016—the tax filing month—as his predecessors always did. WHY SHOULD GHANA EXEMPT ITS PRESIDENTS FROM PAYING THEIR FAIR SHARE OF TAXES—THAT'S DAMN STUPID & HIGH LEVEL OF HYPOCRISY!

Presidents from the donor nations, pay taxes and we love to see them doling out money to support our budget. That colonial mindset of giving freebies, must be eradicated with in the shortest possible time and let every Ghanaian on the working field, pay taxes as a way of generating revenue for development. I don't know whose idea it is that our presidents shouldn't pay tax. This stupid law must be repealed and replace with one that makes the president pay tax too. It is a stupid idea to exclude the president from paying tax. Parliament must look into this and do something about that stupid law.
