Ghana’s President Hurls Insults At Obasanjo At African Forum In London-bloomberg
There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults. This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

The president has been saying that he tried to introduce electronic payment and acquisition systems into the public sector {to reduce human contact with cash} in his effort to fighting corruption, but lamented that the systems were often resisted.
This has become so monotonous that Ghanaians are beginning to wonder whether the president is actually serious and interested in fighting corruption as he claims, or it's just another crocodile's tears to deceive Ghanaians into believing that he is making an effort, while the government and its cronies amass billions of dollars at the expense of this struggling HIPC nation.
Why should Ghanaians hire a president that can't even introduce an electronic system successfully into the public sector to save us from criminals masquerading as civil servants? Mr. Mahama must be seen to be fighting corruption with all his might rather than go on lamenting helplessly like the rest of us who hired him to do the job.

The people of La Dadekotopon erred by sending a miscreant like Amasa Namoale, also known as BBC NEWS!!!!!! to represent them he parliament. I need not say much about this character, you can see it yourself by the kind of things he posts on this forum. The likes of Amasa Namoale must not get anywhere near our parliament, because he degrades it. He is a propagator of Tribal discrimination and therefore a nation wrecker.
He calls Nana Binaddo, closing his stupid eye to the fact that his useless president practically brought 2 TERRORRISTS to Ghana to endanger our lives.
Amasa Namoale insults everyone including executives of his own party. He said they are FRAUDSTERS AND PICKPOCKETS. Why must anybody vote for thieves then if that is the case? Is that where we want our politics to go? If your answer is no, especially, the people of La Dadekotopon, THEN VOTE THIS MISCREANT OUT OF PARLIAMENT, AND BRING SOME RESPECT TO THE LEGISLATIVE ARM OF GOVERNMENT.

NPP is more capable of managing the affairs of the land of our birth more and far better than these thieves in the ndc parading as politicians and stealing and stealing and stealing eeiii! NDC took a Ghana that was in good shape and promised to shape it better but what do we see? Reversing with high speed to worst, everybody in Ghana including the kids and oldies are all crying for change. The 419 party called ndc is worst off than Bishop Obinim who has gone to the dead to retrieve somebody's passport. If you want change in your life vote against ndc this Nov. If you want a better life and future vote NPP, if you want the NHIS, YEP, METRO MASS TRANSP.SCHOOL FEEDING PROGRAMME, FREE MATERNAL CARE, AFFORDABLE HOUSES, LESS TAXES, GOOD GOVERNANCE then vote NPP this November. The men and women of our country who have good vision of our country are damn ready to correct the mess these people in the ndc have caused this nation which has sent our dear country to the bottom of the pit and have lost our usefulness and respect in the eyes of the world. These our selfless people in the NPP are ready to serve their country to the admiration of the whole world to bring honour and happiness to the people of Ghana. WE SHALL OVERCOME.

Ivor Greenstreet said directly to President John Mahama and Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur that: “You don’t care”.
“Nobody is feeling your better Ghana”, Greenstreet shouted when he delivered his party’s solidarity message to the NDC at the congress at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Ashanti regional Captial, Kumasi – stronghold of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In the full glare of the President, Vice President, former President Jerry Rawlings, and thousands of leaders and supporters of the NDC, a defiant Greenstreet said: “…Currently nobody, I mean nobody is feeling your better Ghana.”
“Continuous ‘dumsor dumsor,’ corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out, and all the challenges you are facing [are] suffocating the Ghanaian people.”
He added: “We would have thought that perhaps you may have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation, but no, you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other.”
“Ghanaians are not happy at all. This ‘bronya’ is dry. Too too dry,” he told the President, adding: “The most painful thing of all is that you don’t care.”
“NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you, do what you want to do, we also know what we’ll come and do…make sure you’ll elect executives who will be able to steer your parties affairs when you are in opposition. Boys abr3.”
The wheelchair-bound Politicians has been called names and criticised by leaders and supporters of the NDC after his bluntness. While Majority Leader Alban Bagbin has said he believed Greenstreet was possessed by some demons, which caused him to be “so emotional”, presidential staffer Sam George wrote on his Facebook wall that: “Ivor Greenstreet apparently needs elevation to see the Better Ghana.”
However, Nkrumah said Greenstreet’s message was crafted by the CPP to capture the mood and mind of the entire country.

Indiscreet and insensitive statements like this by a person who has been appointed to head the EC by a govt whose stay in power was largely determined by either the dishonesty or incompetence of Afari-Gyan, now confirms to all of us that the woman is not impartial.
So far everything that has come out of her mouth over the past few days, shows that she has been put into that position to do a hatchet job for the NDC.
At the very least, even if she is not partisan, this woman is not mature enough to hold such a sensitive public position. She should know that the subject of Afari-Djan raise strong emotions in the public domain and for her to overlook those concerns and to go ahead and publicly praise him simply means that she is either looking for trouble or she is not sensible enough to know what she is doing or where she is at.
I do not hold any political sympathies for the NPP but looking at current developments, I have a deep worry about the future of the country.

Across the nations??? Ok, then it sounds even more like joke and NPP's propaganda. So, you want to say that out of a few millions of workers (definitely we have that much, if all population of Ghana is almost 26 millions) only 1000 is unhappy about increase of the prices??? Well, seems that is an amount of voters NPP has. There is no government in the world who can satisfy 100% of its country population, so I guess our President Mahama is pretty good at what he is doing since we have only around 1000 out of 26 millions unhappy people!

You must be a thief if you are ok with today's situation that we face.
Where are the economist that our schools have produced?
No survey to even show lives status.
Where are the pros our universities are producing? Do we add a course called ETHICS to every course being offered at the universities.
We are sinking so fast.
Let's use our brains to solve problems and leave our pockets and stomachs to send us back to the early 80's.
We are giving life to grow not to retrogress.
Pleasant day to all.
