We've heard of pastors going to herbalists for powers and to make people troupe to their churches. Those are the wolves in sheep's covering. Politics is a very dirty game that many people who are not even witnesses don't want to be part of. How do you feel when the party you actively and zealously campaigned for end up not keeping their promises and greedily looted the treasury? Government officials stash huge sums of money while the common people who voted them in are stuggling to put food on their table. Many voters regretted their choice. For you to vote for a party or an individual shows you believe in them and have hope that they'll bring about good change. Is that what you always get? Psalm 146 : 3, 4.
Go into politics, examine it properly beneath its surface looks. There is no harmony between politics and christianity. A politician tells people what they want to hear just to win the election. A Christian speaks the truth even when it is bitter and unwanted. Witnesses are also humans with a right to choose who they want to rule them. If I don't believe any of the contestants for a particular post can't bring the change I desire, I am NOT under any compulsion to vote. I can abstain. Let's stop blaming innocent people for our failures.

I voted every election in hopes of electing someone who cares about the plight of Ghanaians but that's never the case. They make all these promises and ends up breaking most of their promises. They're elected to serve the people but due to their greed and the thirst for power, they become a self-serving idiots. I've given up on politics. It just adds unnecessary stress and anger for so many people with little benefit. Tell me Madam Donkor, what has politicians done to improve the lives of the average Ghanaians? Basic amneties such as water and electric continue to be a headache for majority of Ghanaians because incompetences and mismanagements on the part of the very people elected to do the job is still lacking. You can talk shit because you're among the elite who can afford to live comfortably in Ghana. Look around you and see the misery being experience by the masses. Kindly go and research or better still ask them about the role of the 12 disciples of Jesus during the first century Christian congregation. One their appointment of Elders and Ministerial Servants, they showed me from my own bible, the scriptural basis for such appointments. jehovahs witnesses have no success in muslim dominated countries. they are truly not worldwide as they have you believe,they have not fulfilled math 24:14. akua... if you want jehovahs witnesses to stop growing in ghana just have the rest of ghana become muslims. muslims on the whole do not become jehovahs witnesses. that's why jehovahs witnesses are virtually unknown in muslim majority countries. hence less jehovahs witnesses mean more voters. or even better send them to the muslim world to fulfill math 24:14. and since they are viewed as pacifists sending pacifists into the muslim world certainly cant be a bad thing (no disrespect intended for ahmadis, ishmaelis, bahais, peace loving shia, peace loving sunni or anyone else for that matter). please forgive my cheekiness.

That being said, Jehovah's Witnesses DO NOT try to influence people to vote or not to vote - so what excuse do others who do not share their ideologies have for not voting?
