These titles in the early days attempted to manufacture things, arts, a way of life for the Creator God to HIS distaste. And they are doing it today. Instead of obeying His scriptures. Its a huge lie, to teach we can do miracles with we have a good relationship with God.

As Christians we are to present the word of God without any embellishment. It is only when we present God's word as it is in the Bible and in its proper context that God will bless his word.

The gift of miracles happens to be just one of the many gifts in the church. It is a much coveted gift. and as with all gifts, it is up to the Giver to determine whether a miracle should occur or not. Miracles give us the foretaste of what living with God will be like.

The gift of miracles is one of Christ's gift to the church, and it is administered by his Spirit.

Eph 4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

1Co 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
1Co 12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
1Co 12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
1Co 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
1Co 12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
1Co 12:9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
1Co 12:10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues.
The Church, God's children, can always take heart in this: they are living Miracles of the power of God's grace.

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5 :17

PURPOSE OF GIFTS

Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Unfortunately, the enemy is using counterfeit miracles to draw up a people for perdition.

Jesus warned his audience in the dual prophecy of the destruction of Jerusalem and the end of the world in Matthew 24. "Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many." Matthew 24:4-5.

DON'T BE DECEIVED BY THE ABUNDANT MIRACLES

"And then shall that Wicked One be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

And with all deception of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

That they all might be condemned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
