Instead of inviting us to join NATO so we boost our security they first offer us some useless Africom and now give us their terrorists that they themselves have difficulty in handling . Indiscreet and insensitive statements like this by a person who has been appointed to head the EC by a govt whose stay in power was largely determined by either the dishonesty or incompetence of Afari-Gyan, now confirms to all of us that the woman is not impartial.

So far everything that has come out of her mouth over the past few days, shows that she has been put into that position to do a hatchet job for the NDC.

At the very least, even if she is not partisan, this woman is not mature enough to hold such a sensitive public position. She should know that the subject of Afari-Djan raise strong emotions in the public domain and for her to overlook those concerns and to go ahead and publicly praise him simply means that she is either looking for trouble or she is not sensible enough to know what she is doing or where she is at.

I do not hold any political sympathies for the NPP but looking at current developments, I have a deep worry about the future of the country.

Muslims burnt down a Christian mission house in Atebubu yet the IGP was again silent. AMA banning churches in classrooms, Northern Regional Minister accusing the Christian clergy of encouraging politicians to be corrupt. These are all plans aimed at suppressing Christianity to please the OIC. These are all indicators that Mahama is feverishly handing over Ghana to the Organisation of Islamic Conference for Money. We should remember Islam is useless without direct state support and so Mahama is providing that support to Muslims to grow in Ghana whilst at the same time suppressing Christians. This Guantanamo Bay brouhaha currently occupying the attention of our nation was to a largest started when Dr. Vladimir Antwi-Danso, the International Relations Analyst & lecturer at the Legon Centre for International Affairs came out and lambasted Mahama's administration for the decision to accept to resettle the two Yemeni Gitmo ex-convicts (See "Gitmo ex-convicts should have been rejected - Ghanaweb, 1/7/2016).

Dr. Antwi-Danso panicked the whole nation by describing Mahmud Umar Muhammad Bin Atef & Khalid Muhammad Salih Al-Dhuby as "two hardened ex-convicts". Dr. Antwi-Danso branding received affirmation from Security Expert, Dr. Kwesi Aning, who is the director of the faculty of Academic Affairs & Research at the Kofi Annan Peace Keeping Centre. Dr. Aning reiterated that the two detainees pose a threat to the country's security.

Whatever else the Catholic Bishops,the Christian Churches,the President, the Foreign Affairs minister, Hanna Tetteh,
& worried Ghanaians are saying, our nation needs to get to the bottom of this affair- which can be traced to Barack Obama' s attempt to end Guantanamo Bay to house terrorists, using his executive powers, thus bypassing Congress.

The US has to find another way to incarcerate terrorists, because nations throughout the world are beginning to uphold NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard).

I'm a Ghanaian and l speak fluent Arabic. These people always believes in the doctrine of their sheikh. Not even their parents can change anything. They can seem to be very nice people when they mingle with society. But they are secretive and deadly due to their allegiance to the group they belongs.
