Indiscreet and insensitive statements like this by a person who has been appointed to head the EC by a govt whose stay in power was largely determined by either the dishonesty or incompetence of Afari-Gyan, now confirms to all of us that the woman is not impartial.

So far everything that has come out of her mouth over the past few days, shows that she has been put into that position to do a hatchet job for the NDC.

At the very least, even if she is not partisan, this woman is not mature enough to hold such a sensitive public position. She should know that the subject of Afari-Djan raise strong emotions in the public domain and for her to overlook those concerns and to go ahead and publicly praise him simply means that she is either looking for trouble or she is not sensible enough to know what she is doing or where she is at.

I do not hold any political sympathies for the NPP but looking at current developments, I have a deep worry about the future of the country.

"Whatever you need, I'll give you the money," the president told his deputy over lunch, Joe Biden told CNN. The vice-president also said Bernie Sanders was more "authentic" on inequality issues than Hillary Clinton. The Vermont senator and the former US Secretary of State are leading the field in the Democratic race to succeed Mr Obama.Backing from the popular vice-president would be a coup but like the president, Mr Biden refused to publicly support either candidate. We have thousands of persons languishing in Ghana's prisons without trial or charge for more than 14 years on remand, kindly concentrate on showing them your low-risk brand of compassion first. CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME. Orphanages and social centers for the vulnerable are collapsing because of lack of public funds yet you are promising houses as awards to farmers and taxi drivers who have a source of income. A Compasionate Christian politician in deed. Where is the common sense?
