In Kufour's regime, there was no corruption. Kufour was clean. he didn't sell GhanaTelecom, He didn't buy 100 cars just to celebrate Ghana@50, He did not have any issue with Gizel Hagzi. His ministers were very clean, Richard Anane did not use the taxpayers' money to finance pregnancy with an American lady, Mr. Bamba didn't engage in corrupt deals with letterheads of the Office of the president. Yet, Ghanaian electorates became annoyed and voted out Kufour and his clean party people, including Nana Akufo Addo who badly wanted to become the president of Ghana at all cost. Because Ghanaians want corrupt people to rule them.

Respect is earned not purchased or demanded. Mahama has lost respect as a result of his character as a person and a leader. You don't expect to be respected when you destroy your country's economy by using our resources to buy votes from electorates. If you support such a leader then you probably benefit from his corrupt deals or you are mediocre in your reasoning.

We should be bold as citizens to demand good leadership from our leaders and stop this unholy posture that elders never do wrong.

May God give us the Grace to speak the truth as it is.

Ghana needs people like you, Ebo Whyte because you demonstrated from your comments the realities of the qualities of Mahama, our dearest presiodent. It is clear that the negative comments about our president from some of the people are just of a political and tribal bigotry.

The statement that Mahama is a gentle man of the gentlemen means a lot to the matured and rational minds with great observation of the politics of hatred that goes on in Ghana since the introduction of party politics in Ghana in the fifties.

This political and tribal hatred took over the nation because the citizens are not people who practically believe in God neither do thay believe and understand politics since politics means morality, and morality calls for respect for one another, a school of thought that can not be found in Ghana politics today.

This is what the whole population of the nation's political world ought to learn and exercise so that the people will be aware of the essence of unity in politics since that is sine qua non to the growth and development of a nation's matured politics, which will surely lessen the bitterness that had dominated our daily politics.
