How can MAHAMA fire someone who is making the most money for him. The AMERI deal alone brought over 200 million to MAHAMA and his NDC. NDC will commend him rather for being the most trusted thief. Time will tell guys.

Everyone knows Mahama, so coward and timid, will not fire him if he Kwabena Donkor does not resign. So the only option left for Ghanaians is to take the law into their own hands and remove him. Demonstrations and strikes over this, could do the same if Ghanaians cannot match to the energy ministry.

Dr. Ndoum, I do always respect your views but I think I respectfully disagree with your opinion about this so called power minister being an expert in energy. No one who has experience and expertise in a particular field will put his reputation on the line, regardless of a prospective consequence. I'm unsure if this man has ever run an energy company in his life, let alone writing a workable energy policy for the country. How many entrepreneurs will continue to hire a MBA to run a business when he/she Consistently lose revenue?
First of all, as an expert in energy, Mr. Minister (I only have expertise in business) but common sense should have dictated to you that thermal energy should not have been part of the country's energy mix. There is abundant supply of solar, wind, nuclear (from kwabenya). Why didn't he design an energy mix policy to include all of the above to the existing hydro? The 600+ million dollars being wasted could have definitely provided a foundation to solving the energy conundrum the nation finds itself in. Ghana is a country with growing economy but current and past governments failed to develop a mandatory policy to accommodate the rate of growth. Such a policy should be in three phases: (1) immediate short-term solution to the current so called dumsor, (2) medium-term, and (3) long- term solutions.
Past and current governments depended on what Nkrument built with few cosmetic additions along the same Volta river and can't understand why the country is experiencing the crisis. Why can't Ghanaian leadership think? It's a shame! Unfortunately, I cannot express everything in this forum. Contact me if anyone wishes to discuss this issue further with me.
