Ghanaians are visibly yearning for a change to liberate themselves from the corrupt nation wreckers' party which has brought untold hardship on them.
NPP party, on the other hand, has what it takes to save the nation from the sinking ship, and fully prepared to take over from the NDC con men democratically through free and fair elections.
Their water-gating tactics will not save them because Ghanaians have seen the light, and their attempt to divert their attention from the real issues confronting the nation will backfire on them

Ghana can do it, except that NDC and John Mahama's incompetent govt have a wicked agenda; they want to remain in power and continue wrecking Ghana's economy through fraud and corruption. Fearing for the consequences after losing the election in 2016 they are using buga-buga tactics and crude means to cheat in the coming elections. But Ghanaians are alert this time and won't allow them to fool around this time.

I lived in Nigeria for three decades and know that country well. Thr man, Jega tried his best because the country is so big with more difficult terrain. In the North, you have insurgency and semi-arid climate. Indeed the desert has enveloped parts of Borno, Katsina, Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara States, etc. Bayelsa, Delta, Rivers, Lagos have mangrooves and water bodies that can only be accessable using speed boats. Security agencies were well prepared to deal with miscreeants yet in few instances there was ballot snatching, gun shots and other related matters. The high point was that in all 36 states Prof Jega used Vice Chancellors as bosses in each (state). The election faced other problems like late arrival of officials and voting materials. Some biometric machines failed to recognize even prominent people who went out to vote. Nigerians were themselves surprised about the successful outcome. Despite all the shortcomings, the election was relatively free and fair due to the remarkable level of patience of Nigerians. They were determined to keep a peaceful and united country so they succeeded. In Ghana some politicians are already talking voilence and with a pre-determined mind. That election was not better than what happened in Ghana in 2012 but it was certainly the best of all other previous elections in Africa's most populous country of over 170 million. I salute Nigerians for the remarkable feat. In 2016, Ghana can do what Nigeria did if only the citizens are willing to because there is no perfect elections anywhere in the world.

Government, like Nigeria must use a well resourced police, army and other security services to deal with troubble makers as Nigeria did. That is key because some criminal minded Ghanaian will never want the Electoral Commission to deliver. Elections are free and fair ONLY when their preffered candidates win even when they witness how each and everyone voted. They should be dealt with by the security agents for peace to reign. Results must be certified and declared at every polling station. Proper orientation for electoral officers should preceed the election.

Ghana has held so many successful elections. In fact, in 2001, power changes hand from NDC to NPP and for NPP won 2 presidential elections from 2001 to 2008. Again on our democratic march, we changed government again from 2009 to 2015.
If Nigerians have not the chance to change government, we must tell them that this is what we have been known for since 2001.
Nigerian must be told in no uncertain terms and they themselves know this that Ghana is a pacesetter for them.
Ghana has scored many electoral goals, Nigeria has scored only one (1) goal and there they are trying to score cheap propaganda point. How many governments have the Nigeria Electoral Commission changed since 2001 to date, just 1. Ghana has done it 4 times.

Polls: Nigeria owes Afari-Gyan a lot – Jega
Attahiru Jega
Prof Attahiru Jega
Former chair of Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Attahiru Jega, has said Nigeria owes Ghana’s former Electoral Commission chair, Dr Kwadwo Afari-Gyan, a lot, as far as restoring electoral stability in Africa’s most populous country is concerned.
“We in Nigeria have a lot that we owe to Dr Afari Gyan. No doubt he was the longest-serving electoral commissioner on the continent of Africa and no doubt – regardless of what may have happened in the last elections – he’s done a lot to restore stability in the electoral system in your country,” Prof Jega said at a lecture organised in Accra by the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) to mark its 25th anniversary.
Most importantly, he noted, “we [Nigerians] have learnt a lot from listening to him, understanding the challenges he faced, how he addressed them and how we could do better than he had done because it was very important for us to be able to do that.”

Bro,this is ya question:-.Why is fair only if they wins?.....
My little brain answer is:- So that they can also create, loot and share just like what is going on now and have been going since the implementation of this WINNER TAKES IT ALL one party state style of governing.
Our parliament is one big pirate ship(which can turn any angel into a captain Blackbeard when they come face to face with the wealth involve) where people are jostling each other to sign on so that they can land some booty on the winner´s side.
Read the lips of the Prof and you can conclude he is rather talking about a system which does not allow any electoral fraud or agitations.Trust me, without federation, that great nation Naija would´ve seize to exit.
