Boss please do well to help we the ones that have been harassed by the previous regime for no just cause. This is the right time to free us from the wicked ones. There is a nexus of mafia within which operated and victimized a lot of folks. Please transfer those at the administration who are with the mafia team and for that matter hide some petitions brought to the administration and do not work on them.May God grant you the wisdom to rule efficiently and may you bring blessing to we the oppressed.

This propaganda bullshit must stop. Since when did security agency have to approve of the appointment of IGP by the President of the Country?

Absolutely correct. It sounds as if the creme de la creme of Ghana corruption is praising itself.

The current IGP having gone through the process of professional policing is well placed to move the police administration to the next level of modern policing in accordance to international best practices. COP Kudalor has the physical strength, operational capacity, security insticts, ground movement and understanding to deal with numerous security challenges facing the country. he needs cooperation from within and outside to ensure that Ghana Police moves forward.

Is Kudalor now the right man for the job? Where was he when a 2-year extension of service was given to the former IGP? Why didn't the Gov't appoint Kudalor as acting IGP at that time but waited for 2 years? Someone's promotion has been blocked for 2 years and this is the kind of silly politics which should stop. One works in an organization aspiring to get to the top, but if people are treated with disdain, then we as a nation, have a problem. Where was the Police Council when the former IGP was being given a 2-year contract? This same Gov't did exactly the same thing at CEPS. And does the NDC Gov't expect Ghanaians to die for Ghana?

I don't believe these messages are genuine. They are full of grammatical errors and even where there are excepts from quoted there are spelling mistakes and so on

I am baffled. Since when did other security agencies and supposed pastors start endorsing the appointment of IGPs? The country is sinking and all that we are interested in is unneccessary praise singing.

How this can be misconstrued as endorsement is beyond me.
The prerogative lies on the President, by his executive powers, to appoint a substantive IGP and not political spinning.
I would imagine there will be other criteria critical to protecting Ghana, other than endorsements, that the President will take into consideration when appointing key security figures. I am sure hand wringing through publications such as this will not have any effect on the President's choice of IGP. So stop being infantile.

Mr IGP your directive that Police officers should stop checking Drivers' Licences is being flouted in Kumasi. As early as 4.30am these shameless policemen and women storm the streets to collect ONE-ONE CEDIS from Taxi and Trotro drivers.
They stand at the following places;
1]19 steps at Akwatialine
2]Aboabo Junction near the newly opened Asawasi Police station
3]Akwatialine near the Mosque
4]Rex Cinema near Prempeh Assembly Hall
5]Bompata near Fante Newtown
By the way, IGP,your Policemen and women practically and truly do not check Drivers' Licences, they only extort ONE ONE CEDIS from Commercial drivers.
This disgraceful practice is a common knowledge to the Regional Police Commanders and to you the Acting IGP.
After the dismissal of the corruptible Judges, the attention should now be focused on Policemen and women who at dawn extort money openly from Commercial Drivers. This should stop immediately.IGP,the general public is keenly watching you.
Start dismissing the recalcitrant ones from Kumasi, extortion in Kumasi is worse, the Regional Police Commander is helpless and has failed in this area,he only makes noise after an armed robber has been arrested.IGP, i have listed most of the places where your men and women stand to perpetuate extortion from drivers. Act now.
