Being assertive, unyielding, and seeking to provide the best service to students (or clients) are not "arrogant" traits.

If you make mention of other tribes in Southern Ghana why lump all three regions with different tribes together as northerners? Why not southerners?

Audrey actually comes across as irredeemably toxically arrogant.1. There appears to be some empirical deviance to substantiate that widely held perception by the University Community and the larger public ( we can provide the evidence if requested)2. The fact that she is held as such suggests that she has a case to answer. Why?. The simple answer is- Why is her colleagues not perceived as such? The first time i listen to her, i got nauseated.

Why will anyone appoint someone with a degree in African studies as a minister, what for? I mean, what has she achieved in real life, apart from producing unemployed graduates and half - baked graduates who can't even string proper sentences together. Isn't that an indictment on her and her colleagues?

Right from the very early days, even before independence, everyone wanted/wants to finish school and get a job in government because it was a secure position - job for life. People worked for life under the government and no vision was conceived to prepare locals to be innovative and develop their own businesses. This practice continues even till today. Get a degree and find work with the government. In that capacity, we have not been able to use our brains for inventions. This has stagnated the Ghanaian economy in numerous diverse ways.
This phenomenon of not starting things for ourselves but relying on government, has eaten badly into our society and persona as a people. Get a degree and go work for the government - this is what the British taught us and we have not improved upon it in anyway. People are always striving for degrees and diplomas not realizing that, government cannot employ us all. As a reminder, having a degree or diploma should not translate to working for the government.
Ghanaians think so highly of degrees and will do whatever it takes to have one or the other in whatever way - fake or genuine. The majority of Ghanaians with degrees look down on the have-nots with total disdain and demand respect even where/when they do not deserve it.
In this article, it seems most people would be advising the lady "Audrey Gadzekpo" to seek appointment with government in politics. We seem to think once one has a degree, he/she is capable or ripe to go into government as a politician. It seems the lady in question even though not interested in politics, has the majority wishing she gets in politics simply because she has a BA, MA or PhD. That is the Ghanaian mentality for you - with a degree, you are too smart and should enter into politics and acquire a position in government.
The irony of of the matter is, many of this degree holders have been at the helm of affairs of this nation since independence but have not significantly impacted our economy in any meaningful way, shape or form.
Now, if she renegs on her current resolution and enters into politics or offered and accepts a government position, depending on certain circumstances that will compel her to do so, I am yet to listen to the convincing reasons and excuses that made her change her mind and accept the position with government.
Waiting..... and hopefully it won't be long.
