Universities need professionals to run and the Minister should desist from telling ECG what to do. They Universities must pay their bills on time as they know the implication for not doing that

Electricity is not free. If you want those schools to have electricity then find a way to help them pay their electricity bills.

You are one of the reasons why this particular NDC radical group is finding it difficult to help government institutions to pay ECG. when I was in Ghana, u come on air to tell the whole nation that Ghana, is owing African autoMobil 1.5 billon dollars, so government was negotiating to 500 hundred thousand dollars to African auto mobile which turns out to be untrue, when u and your so called new NDC boys or radicals were in opposition did u ever hear anything of that sort happening during the time if NPP, u can not steal in the name of judgement debt and expect money to come from heaven to pay ECG, do u know what 1.5 billion dollars can do in Ghanas economy? Mr motto way, think of the legacy u are going to leave as a polictician, don't think about been rich and powerful because your very life can be taken by God anytime he wishes.

It will take a very good long time for Ghana to develop if the Ghanaian people continue to hand political power to the ndc. Just ask yourself how much each student now pays as school in Ghana today and how many units of electricity each student can consume. To the best of my knowledge students pay over 500ghc per semester for accommodation on campus, over 4 students per room. How much electricity can they consume at all that a small chip of the 500ghc can't be taken to pay for? Government owns many of our Universities halls so where do the moneys paid as accommodation fees go?
It's very hurtful that govt can't get money to buy fuel to power plants to end the dumsor but continue to give electricity for free.
Ndc and jm have disappointed me to the bone. Just ask yourself what special policy has the Ndc got that will create permanent jobs for the uncontrolled children Ghanaians are pouring on the streets?
Look at the kind of people taking decisions for Ghanaians, ablakwa, Fifi kwetey, agalga, Vicky Hamma, apoh, .......
If a country can't produce enough electricity for even household use what else can it do?
At a time a barrel of crude oil is 43usd plus Ghana gas on stream govt Stil can't power us with electricity. Useless govt and am sure rawlings is happy now.

Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa, in my opinion, is not qualified to be in charge of tertiary education; should have challenged the polytechnicsA to build their own roof-top solar panels to generate their own electricity.
