The argument that Ghana Gas should be joined with GNPC is a sound one and gives some diversified leverage to GNPC in its bid to become a major player in the hydrocarbon industry. However, Mr Mould's argument of listing the Ghana Gas arm in practice is not sound so far as Ghana Gas remains majority owned by GNPC and treated as its processing arm. Divorcing the financial performance of Ghana Gas from GNPC especially under these turbulent upstream market times will not give a true picture needed by investors.
