  I trained them hard and I know they can deliver. I am invincible that’s why it is very hard to trace me with corruption but I know I am indelibly corrupt.

  The system may need a clean up in ensuring no individual serves as a juror more than once in a particular legal year
  This ensures a cross section of Ghanaians can provide juror service
  Besides indentures can go a long way to assist

  To trust lawyers and judges alone in Ghana will be akin to having mice come out to play in the absence of cats. We have witnessed in the life of any Ghanaian how lawyers and judges collude to frustrate persons who bring their cases to court when aggrieved by a person or entity.
  
  We have seen land disputes between litigants get bogged down in our courts because of lawyers who ride the system with help from judges until a party gives up and walk away. Our courts are choked because of the many useless lawyers and their bribery prone judges.
  
  We like our jury system even if there is jury nullification; they are far better for us than to put our trust in a profession of ambulance chasers and bribery prone sitting judges. The lay people need each other to balance effects of the nickel and dime lawyers and judges.

  It is no fault of theirs. the system wants to have just about everything free..! if u fail to train them how could they acquire that level of appreciation...? at least certain basic level of training must be given them and at regular intervald be invited to attendant workshops and seminars to upgrade...u have usurp all these juicy upgrading opportunities just because u want to enjoy alone....! just TRAIN them to sharpen their understanding abt what it ought to be....period..!

  Jurors should be selected from the electoral role. Meals and travel expenses should be paid to jurors. Employers must be required to pay normal wages while staff are on jury duty. Jurors should be given a number and randomly balloted. Short trials of under 5 days should have 14 impaneled, and 2 removed by ballot just before jury deliberations. Long trials should have 17 impaneled. Look at best jury practice and reform the system.
