Indeed, Ghana's development is heavily dependent on human resources, especially when criminals like JJ Rawlings and JA Kufuor have auctioned off the country's natural resources to mainly foreigners.
Any attempt to build human resources in the country must start first, from Ghana withdrawing its membership from the WAEC. Second, by telling IMF conditionalities to go to hell, and the government starting an elaborate scheme to revamp the curriculum from kindergarten to high school with emphasis on math, english, science, and social studies. Third, special schools should be set up in the regional capitals that provides fee-free education and other incentives for gifted and talented students in math and the sciences. There should be competition among the special schools in the regions to select students who will represent the country in annual math contest.
This is the recipe to build a strong human resources for Ghana's development.
