  All those insulting Martin Amidu here are missing the point. At the heart of it he is fighting the cross-current of potent tyranny. Please have an open mind and carefully and thoroughly read and analyze what his writings are about. The basic thrust of his arguments is to mightily guard against the constitution of Ghana from covert gradual weakening and undermining for the purposes of destroying political opponents.
  
  As citizens, you and I have nothing between us and tyranny except the constitution and if a dictatorial government can dilute its fundamental principles and institutions by engaging covert agencies to weaken those constitutional protections, it will do it, albeit, to keep itself in power. Already the NDC government is demonstrably showing that it has these tendencies in the way it is handling the constitutional reforms process by cherry picking which amendments it would like to forward to parliament for consideration whiles sitting on others that were collected by the Constitutional Reform Committee(CRC) from home and abroad. Wouldn't the prudent steps be submitting to the legislative body to deliberate on everything that we the people have put out there on their merits or demerits to make it to the final bill? Why is the government trying to shape and colour the outcome for us, whereas it is a vested party with its own selfish interests? Why almost 8 years and counting we do not have the Freedom to Information Act? What is there more to study or deliberate about; or is Ghana the first country to formulate the freedom of information bill?
  
  What Martin Amidu is saying - and I get him - Anas and his company should do the proper thing by staying true to their stated mission, values and purpose as independent investigative organization free from governmental puppeteering manipulation and instrument against its perceived enemies by getting itself properly constituted and established, legally and factually. I don't disagree with that. Isn't it the case that so far not even a single government minister or its assigns have been exposed by Anas, it has always been peripheral agencies, organizations and institutions? How strange. Corrupt government ministers are not even trying to hide, they live their opulence in plain site.
  
  Meanwhile people should pay close attention to the words Martin Amidu is using......the key operative word that started this round of discussion is "government commissioned" Anas to run a sting operation against the judiciary. Now some journalists started "throwing" into the mouth of Amidu, " government sponsored....." when in fact what he said was "government commissioned". There is a whole world of difference between "commissioned" and "sponsored". The two should not be confused.

  If your answer is the later, then you are part of them and have sold justice to the higher bidder yourself. Forget about this attack of procedure and legitimacy of Tiger Eye PI. Ghanaian don't care all those nonsense; we care about empirical evidence like Anas' video. Even if a mous brings that evidence of bribery in such an august organ of Governance, we will hail the mouse without any concern about the legitimacy, procedure or who sanctioned it. What made you laugh idiot? AFRC and PNDC were military governments that came to suspend the constitution during their reign so indirectly the cannot register as a party. It looks simple to you or still complicated low mind. Anas is doing things within the constitution and the laws and therefore must obey the constitution and the laws of the land. Going against law is equally corruption which he claims to be unraveling. How do you use the most dirty process to unravel a least dirty linen.

This issue of his service passport has nailed him. After challenging a rotten system gallantly on many occasions Amidu is too bold tear hoods. He is walking a free man in Ghana without police protection.

  Anas and his crew are Ghanaians out to expose rot in our society. They are entitled to that, because as Ghanaians, they have the right to expose corruption anywhere they deem fit. It is like a private citizen making a citizen's arrest of a criminal, although that citizen is not a law enforcement officer.
  
  Society imposes certain rights on all citizens and Anas and his crew are exercising those rights.
  
  The end to me, justifies the means.
  
  This man is making a fool of himself and he must go sit down somewhere and lick his boots.

  Oh what a pity. Is it now Ghanaians are seeing the true colours of Martin Amidu? Martin to me has never been a corruption crusader as he is being acclaimed. All he did in the past was not because he has love for Mother Ghana, but it was to get back at those he perceived to be the cause of his woes and denying him his long standing ambition of being the Vice President and probably the President f the country. Unfortunately what he Martin fails to know is that he is the cause of his own woes. He has not been able a constituency for himself through this same patapaa method of his which eventually affected in the 2000 elections where he failed miserably to support the Late President Mills to garner votes from the north. He should Mahama alone. Mahama is not the cause of his woes. He should make a thorough introspection of himself to find the answers.
