Some aggrieved members of the GFA have secured court injunctions to prevent the swearing in of some newly elected members of the Executive Committee – which is one of the items to be treated at the Congress to be held at the Ghanaman Soccer School of Excellence in Prampram.

Northern Regional FA chairman Alhaji Munkaila has raised objections over the election of Abdulai Alhassan as the new chairman.

A similar action has been taken by MNS Doe who is also challenging the election of Roy Arthur as chairman of the Central Regional FA as is Francis Dogbatse of the Volta Region.

Hearts of Oak are also rumoured to have secured an injunction to disrupt the GFA’s Congress which opens on Monday over their impending case against Asante Kotoko which is under review.

However the programme is set to begin as all dignitaries are already present at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.

The Ordinary session of Congress is to confirm promotion and demotion of clubs in their various league competitions and also confirming the place of clubs in their activity report.

Hearts believe this could hurt their case against Asante Kotoko which is under review and have thus secured a court injunction to disrupt congress.
