When a man comes to the presidency with false humility and little or no knowledge of the fact that the human beings he is going to employ as ministers are going to be mostly greedy wolves that need to be checked constantly - such a president is best described as ingenuous, simple, naive, unwary. And when such a man helps pile up wealth on his immediate family members and craftily, on himself, such a man is a disaster.
How does anybody expect him to take his eyes off his personal goal and check a marauding minister?

Clearly, NPP wants to make a mountain out of an ant-hill. The usual thing is that if they get to know the truth, the Akufo Addo faction would insists it's true and play ignorance about the facts. The Kyeremanteng faction will add to the lies being told in the media. Then the parliantery caucus would organise a press conference, fully attended by old wrinkled faces, the Mugabes in parliament. Then finally, the fool soldiers would take it up on fm radio discussions and spew lots of ignorance into it, and making Mr. Afotey Agbo contemplate going to the toothless media or court of arbitration asking for an injunction in in order to enjoy some peace hereafter. The passing corruption comments when they think the need arise will not be lost on them. The opportunity to blackmail and malign would always be grabbed by a desperate impoverished politician.

But if it's true that honourable Afotey Agbo purchased a Hummer for his campaign, I will say he has not been smart at all. He should have known better - that the NPP knew the electoral fortunes are slipping through their leaky fingers unstopably. Nothing seems to be working for them. The centre cannot hold. NDC must then becareful. One of the desperate and hungry supporters says ihe bought a hammer. Let's see what that hammer would be used for.
