The IT field is too fast moving for anyone to try to implement licensing. This idea was discussed in the US in the 1970's, and it did not work. Who is going to administer the examinations? What do you do when companies like Facebook come on the scene? These people should find ways to encourage people to learn IT, rather than trying to regulate it.

A very idiotic way of collecting money for the organization.No where in the world is there such thing as licensing of I T professionals. If you had any international training yourself you would know that in all areas of I T here are certifications by international bodies. Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle and etc. etc. International companies look for certifications by these major bodies, not license. Where should I meet you to pay you for my license. Dump, Dump and DUMP. Multinational companies ask for your international certification, not your Ghana license. They will laugh you out of the interview.
