This is what Mahama should be doing like a good Pepeni. The presidency is too much for a labourer like him.

No need teaching an old dog new tricks. Just build bigger jails and start issuing fines for those caught littering or dumping trash in unassigned areas. Failure to pay will either land you in jail for 3mths to work as a slave.for the region developing infrastructure projects or you will do.volunteer work in sanitation for some hrs. Either way, the various municipalities and regions can make revenue off the stupidity of ghanaians. So why don't you adopt these strategies instead becos ghanaians Aren't ready to change their attitudes anytime soon. U wanna know how singapore changed their habits?

People by nature will not change their attitude unless an outside force is applied, remember isaac newton's first law of motion: action and reaction is opposite and equal,.. that is an incentive or punitive measure or of sanction be applied agst any such persons. simply put resorting to moral suasion will never ever work .!.but why should we be so irresponsible and reckless as to look on helplessly when people litter and create filthy environment... with its attendant health risks and its potential n needless destruction to life and property then we turn around to use our hard earn tax money which could otherwise have found a better use elsewhere. people who create filthy environment must face severe sanction or punishment for example be sentenced to days if not weeks or a few months of community service to clear whatever mess is in the community...period...!!

Its absurd for ministers in Mahama's government always afraid to enforce laws and instead calling for a change of behaviour of Ghanaians mostly when it comes to sanitation. I can not throw litter on the road in Washington and Peking, two countries with different socioeconomic systems. Before the litter torches the ground a policeman or a sanity officer will arrest me. I will be fined or get a term of imprisonment. President John Dramani Mahama and his minister must deal with this insanity with sanitation, crack the wipe and punish those who break sanitation laws and let them not pretend that there are not laws on sanitation in the country. Mahama and his minister must do away with this absurdity.
This is what Mahama should be doing like a good Pepeni. The presidency is too much for a labourer like him.
