You are dismissive of everything that is in Ghana's interest and not in your personal interest. Letters sent to you and received by you on very important matters are not even acknowledged. Do you care? Do the embassies up to date websites? Do the staff respond to emails making simple or important enquiries, do you check response times for requests and questions? The Ghana High Commission in London asked me to use Postal order for my application after I sent the completed forms which they themselves sent to me. A few weeks later, they said the forms were missing and blamed me for not calling earlier. The embassies represent you. If you don't care, why should they care?

Ghana is not USA. Nurses don't make crazy money in Ghana. If she's willing to go back to Ghana and work as a nurse, then salary reduction is inevitable.

Is this the manner to address this issue with such abusive language on a person (s)? In your eyes she may be whatever you called her, but in her own right she is someone's mother, wife etc. When you read comments on sites such as this do the comments contain such abusive language or are you showing off to your pals that you able respond to comments by being abusive?
To the likes of you and to those who resort to personal attacks please refrain from this. It is demeaning and demoralizing to the individual.Place yourself in the person's position. Holding public office does not mean to be personally abused. Suppose your clients/supervisor use such language at you all the time in the course of your work/duties will you be pleased?

This is exactly three weeks I have written an email to the Ghana Embassy in Rome to know when is the deadline for travelling with the old Ghanaian passport (mine will expire June 16th 2016) because I have to travel to Ghana in November 2015 but they haven't even reply to my emails. I sent the same email to her ministry and they also did not reply. I wonder if they know their real duties!!!!!

We have a Ghanaian Association in the UK and we have contacted our mission in UK on numerous occasions by writing to them, but they do not even bother to reply our letters. Therefore how do we engage them, maybe there is a magic formula in engaging them, which we do not know.UK Councillors and MPs do responses to our letters, but not our own Ghanaian Mission in the UK, which is really a shame.

I have called the Ghana mission in Manhattan NY several times to make some enquiries before I visit that office. All my calls were directed to an automated answering system. On all occasions I left a message but no one had the duty to call back. I told a friend about it and he had a similar story to tell. I am not sure the Foreign minister is aware of what diasporans go through contacting missions abroad. They do not care and we are better off avoiding them.

What is worse, they have introduced online visa application without any option for the traditional method, ie download the forms, print, fill and submit them.

The staff of the various Ghana Embassies are only there for their monthyl salaries in foreign currency. They do not represent the interest of Ghanaians.

Ghana high commission in London disregards Ghanaians in UK. The commission never show respect to Ghanaians in Uk. they never acknowledge any letter written to the commission by any Ghanaian.
