Even after the highest court of the land ( supreme court) had ordered him to pay back to the state some people are holding him back not to pay so are you surprised , That is ndc for you. That is why the Home Office is seeking to deport him under immigration rules (foreigners who commit serious crimes, tried, found guilty and sentence to imprisonment should be deported after completing their sentence). The process to depart him might have started nearing the end of his sentence if the judge ordered his deportation. If not, the Home Secretary still has powers to deport him but must apply to the immigration court and that is what is happening.

Even if he acquired British nationality, the Home Secretary also has powers to revoke it and deport him, through the courts and he will have the right to challenge both.

He is a criminal who tried to inflate his bonuses by trading fraudulently. He was not set up by any whiteman. HSBC is a sought after place to work for by all financial experts and they hired this guy who was making more money a month than somebody with his educational background cannot make in a lifetime working in Ghana and he abused that privilege.

Any resident of Britain or USA who commits such a crime will be deported to his country and Adoboli will have himself to blame if he is deported.
