A friend emailed me the highlights and I thought either the goal against Ghana was staged or Brimah doesn't belong in the post.I really was not impressed.

Imagine it was former coach Akwasi Appiah, Ghana supporters would have shame/bury him for failing to win the match. Ghanaians still inhabit inferior complex on race issues. They will blame a black coach than any other race li ...

Jordan is useless. No doubt he is on the bench at Aston Villa. He is lazy, does not show seriousness & thinks dragging down his pants makes him "cool".
You will find him walking leisurely on the field while others are tryi ...

Did you watch the game? His contribution was not bad... He did well with controlling the game on the attack in the first half, as his midfielders weren't really linking up good. I agree we need one or two clinical finishers i ...

I was on the field, and the assessment is right. Jordan is not a striker the Black Stars can rely on. For some of us, the nostalgia we have for his father blind us to the truth. He is not Dede who plays differently. Warris sh ...

He has speed and great ball skills. However, he seems to lack the power to take long range shots. I think that is important. I was impressed with Kwadwo Poku. I can see him as a striker.

  • Yaw Yeboah, Birmingham 8 years ago

Yes, we cannot rely on Jordan till he "grows up". In a game, you see how serious the striking forces are. I also don't see this in Jordan. Schlupp would have been a better striker against Canada.
How I miss, Dede. Some ...

So people are still asking for time for Jordan? Come on! Why not call Opoku Afriyie and give him time? Either you are up to the job or you are not. It is obvious Jordan is not.

I was impressed with the showing by Phil Ofosu-Ayeh.
I think he brings enough speed, pace, depth, and excellent runs as a modern day right back. While I don't expect him to replace Afful, I think he will be a great addition ...

Grant has to be willing to make these guys a part of the team. In fact, I could see Poku starting as a forward and Lloyd as a winger.

I have always said that LLoyed and Kojo Opoku will be a great additions to the black stars, but people underrate the MLS too much that they don`t want to hear about them. Well, the truth is out; will you now give them chance ...

Neither Atsu, Jordan, nor Asante is a black star material. None of them should be called back in a very long time because we now have replacements for them. The game at this level is way far beyond exhibition.
